Digital Design and Functional Verification Manager

About the Role:

The highly technical Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team Digital Design and Verification Engineers for digitally controlled power conversion products with best in class power density performance. The manager will have a variety of responsibilities including:

• Integrate RTL code for power conversion control created by the systems engineering team (and verified with FPGA) into high volume production products and verify performance in system using functional verification simulations
• Develop products to meet performance and cost targets per schedule
• Continuously improve best practices for robust and consistent digital register addressing and architecture
• Lead top down design for minimal test time for adequate coverage and test modes as needed for reliability testing
• Lead teams toward chip level behavioral verification planning and execution for mixed signal products
• Performance reviews, Goal setting & project schedule and status updates to management
• Strong interaction with other functional teams including Analog Design, Applications, Technology, Test & Product Engineering, Packaging, and Quality
• Direct participation in RTL design and digital verification at times as project needs and resources dictate

About You:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• BSEE Required; MSEE preferred
• 10+ years professional experience in digital design and digital/functional verification using system verilog or other behavioral modelling language
• Experience serving as a design lead or manager
• Expertise in chip level verification of mixed signal chips including system components
• Verification within power conversion systems
• Experience working as a leader within cross-functional teams in multiple locations
• Strong Leadership and organization skills
• Self-motivated individual with track record of meeting performance and schedule goals
