About Us:

As part of a small, fast-moving, innovation-focused company, the Senior Staff Digital Design & Verification Engineer will work closely with analog / mixed signal design engineers and systems applications engineers to define and design the digital section of our ICs. Digital plays a major role in all aspects of our ICs performance including system control, high speed processing of digitized data and parametric control of analog cells.

About the Role:

The Candidate will be required to be the lead AC/DC controller chipset development and must have demonstrated the ability to design the following: bandgap reference circuits, clock generators, gate drivers, high-speed comparators, ADCs and DACs. The individual will be responsible for all activities from concept, to design, implementation, and validation/debugging. This person will recruit and manage an ASIC design team.

About You:

The position requires a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8 to 10 years of industry experience in the following areas:

  • PMIC design environment within the semiconductor industry
  • Experienced in design of full-custom power management and analog blocks
  • In-depth knowledge of analog / mixed-signal layout practices and optimization of power devices.
  • In-depth knowledge of parasitic extraction of layout, package and PCB and its circuit modeling
  • In-depth knowledge of device physics and device models
  • Experience with circuit characterization and bench testing and hands-on experience with your own critical layout is a must
  • Experience IC in qualification, production, and test. Familiar with device reliability, design for test, and DFMEA.
  • Experience with IC designs which have achieved high-volume production is preferred
